Buy Back/ Refund Policy

Had Jewell offers elegant, high-quality diamond jewellery, crafted using the finest diamonds and precious metals. Customers choose Had Jewell for its timeless design, expert craftsmanship, and dedication to quality.

We hope you love your Had Jewell piece, but if you ever change your mind, we're here to help.

Outlined below are the options available for our retail and online customers. If you need any further assistance, please contact Customer Service using the details at the end of this document.

1. Exchange

Had Jewell gives you the flexibility to upgrade your jewellery whenever you choose. You can take advantage of our Lifetime Exchange program to refresh your collection.

2. BUY BACK

We understand that sometimes you may wish to return your jewellery for personal reasons. Had Jewell's Lifetime Buy-Back Promise allows you to do so effortlessly.

Let us explain how these options work to make returning, exchanging, or opting for a buy-back as convenient as possible.

 

Exchange and Upgrade

You can upgrade your jewellery anytime through our Lifetime Exchange offer. The value for exchange will be determined after our quality assessment, considering prevailing market rates and the condition of the piece.

Eligibility

  • All jewellery purchased at a Had Jewell Exclusive Retail Store or from our website at hadjewell.com.
  • The original invoice and the IGI certificate (where applicable) must be provided.

Non-eligibility

  • Engraved or custom-made-to-order pieces, including bespoke pieces, cannot receive this service.
  • Items in poor condition, or jewellery that is damaged, will fail to meet the criteria and deductions on the assessed value would be applicable in case you still want to continue.
  • Those that lack the original invoice and related certificates will not be accepted.

How to Exchange or Upgrade

  • Bring your Had Jewell jewellery to a Had Jewell Exclusive Retail Store or contact Customer Service for an online exchange.
  • Present the jewellery in its original condition, along with the original invoice and the IGI certificate.

Procedure

  • In case of store exchanges, the same is acknowledged at the counter.
  • To do online transactions, request a pickup or ship the jewellery into our warehouse. Packaging and tracking will be performed with the Customer Service's help.

 

Quality Check

  • Upon receipt at the warehouse, the jewellery will undergo a Quality Check. If all conditions are met, the exchange process will begin.
  • If there are any issues, Customer Service will notify you and return the jewellery. The cost of return shipping is ₹5,000.00 INR/-.

 

7 Days No-Questions-Asked Return Policy

Our Free 7 Days No-Questions-Asked Return Policy ensures that you can shop with confidence and satisfaction. If, for any reason, you are not completely satisfied with your purchase, you can return the product within 7 days of receiving it for a full refund or exchange—no questions asked.

Eligibility

All products are eligible for return under this policy unless specifically stated otherwise at the time of purchase.

Return Window

The return must be initiated within 7 days from the date of delivery. Please ensure the item is handed to our courier or partner within the pickup window shared by Customer Service.

Condition of the Product

Products must be returned in their original condition, including packaging, tags, certificates, invoice copy, and warranty card. Damaged, altered, resized, or engraved products may not be eligible for return or may attract deductions.

Initiating a Return

To initiate a return, contact our Customer Service team with your order number and reason for return. We will provide you with a return authorisation and instructions for securely packing and returning your product.

Refund Process

Upon receipt and inspection of the returned product, refunds will be processed to the original method of payment within 10 business days. Shipping fees, gift-wrapping, and COD charges (if any) are non-refundable.

 

Buy-Back Promise

For eligible items, you may request a buy-back instead of an exchange or return. The buy-back value will be shared after the Quality Check, based on the prevailing market value of diamonds and precious metals, minus applicable making charges, wear-and-tear, and taxes.
